Obama in Michigan MICHIGAN (wgvu) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is
returning to Michigan.
Campaign officials say the Illinois senator will host free
events Monday at Kettering University in Flint and at Joe Louis
Arena in Detroit. Obama also plans a Tuesday event in Wayne County,
but details were not immediately released.
The stops are part of Obama's two-week tour focusing on the
economy.
Next week's visit will mark Obama's fourth campaign stop in
Michigan in a little more than a month.
During a trip to Troy High School last week and during a May 14
visit, he talked about the economic distress many Michigan families
are feeling and how he would address those issues.
Obama is concentrating on key battleground states now that he is
the party's presumptive nominee.
