Helicopter Crash Update GRAND RAPIDS (wgvu) - An update now on yesterday's helicopter crash on top of Spectrum Butterworth in downtown Grand Rapids.

Earlier this afternoon, a Spectrum spokesman announced the pilot was in fair condition .and his prognosis is good.

The F-A-A official who was a passenger in the helicopter was treated and released from the hospital yesterday.

Spectrum says .there was NO structural damage to the hospital .but aero-med landings on the roof are suspended indefinitely.

They're also evaluating the clean-up needs at the hospital .since some aircraft fuel does need to be removed.
