Democrat Protest MICHIGAN (wgvu) - Hillary Clinton backers are planning a protest
Saturday to demand Democratic leaders recognize the Michigan and
Florida Democratic primaries.
The national party has stripped the states of their presidential
convention delegates for holding their primaries too early.
Protesters plan to rally outside the Washington hotel where the
party's rules committee will consider what to do about the state
delegations.
Leaders have offered a variety of approaches to restore some or
all of the Michigan and Florida delegates.
Clinton won a majority of votes cast in both the renegade
contests, but Barack Obama wasn't even on the Michigan ballot.
