Pontiac police say crash caused by boy, 8, on joy ride USA (wgvu) - PONTIAC, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say an 8-year-old Pontiac boy
has taken a stolen car on a joy ride and caused a three-vehicle
crash.
Pontiac police say the boy sneaked out of his house Wednesday
night and found an empty and running car in his neighborhood.
The Oakland Press and Detroit Free Press report the boy drove
the car in reverse for about a block and hit the front-end of
another vehicle. That vehicle was struck by a third car.
There were no injuries, but officers say he was crying when
officers arrived.
