Double Suicide in Livingston Country
(2008-05-02)
(wgvu) - OCEOLA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Michigan State Police say the
deaths of a couple whose bodies were found in their Howell-area
home was a double homicide.
Authorities say the bodies of 65-year-old Richard Kowalski and
his 58-year-old wife, Brenda, were found by their adult son
Thursday after he'd gone to the home in Livingston County's Oceola
Township to check on them.
Lt. Tom Sands tells The Detroit News: "We're looking at people
of interest." An official cause of death wasn't immediately
released. Sands tells the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus of
Howell: "We have ruled out murder-suicide."
WHMI-FM and The Ann Arbor News report the Livingston County
Major Crimes Task Force has been activated.
The home is located about 45 miles west-northwest of Detroit.
