Touching Deputy MICHIGAN (wgvu) - A Livingston County sheriff's deputy has
quit after being suspended on accusations he inappropriately
touched a female inmate.
Sheriff Bob Bezotte tells WHMI-FM he immediately suspended the
deputy after learning of the allegations Friday. The deputy
resigned Tuesday.
Bezotte says state police at the Brighton post are investigating
the complaint. The sheriff says the deputy spent 12 years with the
department and has never had any disciplinary problems.
