OF A SHOTGUN THAT WAS USED TO KILL A BATTLE CREEK POLICE DETECTIVE
AND WOUND HIS PARTNER IN 2005.
THE BATTLE CREEK ENQUIRER REPORTS 24-YEAR-OLD JACK W. SHERMAN
WAS ARRESTED YESTERDAY IN BATTLE CREEK. A FEDERAL GRAND JURY
INDICTED THE BATTLE CREEK MAN LAST WEEK ON A CHARGE OF SELLING OR
DISPOSING OF A FIREARM TO A FELON.
THE ONLINE DOCKET FOR SHERMAN'S CASE DIDN'T LIST A DEFENSE
LAWYER.
SHERMAN IS CHARGED IN THE SALE OF THE SHOTGUN TO GENAIL POSTLEY
JUNIOR, WHO IS SERVING A LIFE SENTENCE IN BRANN'S DEATH.
SHERMAN FACES UP TO 10 YEARS IN PRISON IF CONVICTED.
