DODD-DELEGATES
(2008-03-11)
(wgvu) -
U.S. SENATOR CHRISTOPHER DODD SAYS THERE'S A
SIMPLE WAY TO GIVE MICHIGAN AND FLORIDA BACK THEIR DEMOCRATIC
PRESIDENTIAL DELEGATES WITHOUT HOLDING NEW PRIMARIES OR CAUCUSES.
DODD SAYS BARACK OBAMA AND HILLARY CLINTON SHOULD SPLIT THE
DELEGATES 50-50.
THE NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC PARTY STRIPPED THE TWO STATES OF THEIR
DELEGATES FOR HOLDING THEIR PRIMARIES TOO EARLY.
THE PARTY'S RULES PROTECT THE EARLY STATUS OF THE IOWA CAUCUSES
AND THE NEW HAMPSHIRE PRIMARY.
CLINTON WON MICHIGAN'S PRIMARY, BUT OBAMA DIDN'T APPEAR ON THE
BALLOT.
