Muskegon Clean-up
(2008-02-25)
(wgvu) - Two debris-filled areas of water along
the Muskegon Lake shoreline may be targeted for cleanup.
The Muskegon Chronicle reports Sunday that CMS Energy Corp.
subsidiary Consumers Energy and the West Michigan Shoreline
Regional Development Commission want to transform the areas into
clean shoreline habitats.
The areas include the Grand Trunk boat launch in Muskegon's
Lakeside neighborhood and the "Scrap Bay" inlet.
The debris includes metal barrels, scraps and cable, broken
concrete and wood.
