CHILDREN FROM THEIR BURNING HOME IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN HAS DIED
ALONG WITH THEM.
THE CHILDREN'S MOTHER REMAINS HOSPITALIZED.
ROGERS CITY FIRE CHIEF TIM LUEBKE SAYS THE VICTIMS WERE
DISCOVERED AFTER THE FIRE WAS BROUGHT UNDER CONTROL.
THE CHIEF ISN'T RELEASING THEIR NAMES BUT SAYS THE PARENTS WERE
38 YEARS OLD AND THE CHILDREN WERE A 17-YEAR-OLD BOY AND GIRLS AGES
15, 5 AND 2.
A NEIGHBOR ACROSS THE STREET MADE A 911 CALL ABOUT 4:30 A.M.
YESTERDAY.
ROGERS CITY IS A COMMUNITY OF 3,800 LOCATED ON LAKE HURON IN
PRESQUE ISLE COUNTY.
IT'S BETWEEN CHEBOYGAN AND ALPENA, ABOUT 60 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
THE MACKINAC BRIDGE.
