Ford Airport-Evacuation

(wgvu) - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - A suspicious package that temporarily
grounded flights and forced the evacuation of parts of Ford
International Airport in Grand Rapids has been found to be safe.
The Grand Rapids Press and WOOD-TV report that the package
contained engineering materials used to test concrete. An all-clear
was issued shortly after 8 a.m. Friday at the airport after the
Michigan State Police Bomb Squad investigated for more than two
hours.
No flights were allowed out of the airport during the
investigation.
The man carrying the case was headed to Minneapolis on a 7 a.m.
flight.
