THE VOTER-APPROVED AMENDMENT TO THE MICHIGAN CONSTITUTION BANS
THE USE OF RACE AND GENDER PREFERENCES IN UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS AND
GOVERNMENT HIRING AND CONTRACTING.
PARTS OF THE LAW HAVE BEEN CHALLENGED BY THE NAACP, THE AMERICAN
CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION AND THE GROUP BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY.
