THE 19-YEAR-OLD OVERCAME THE DISEASE AND WAS CROWNED MISS
AMERICA 2008 SATURDAY NIGHT IN LAS VEGAS.
THE FARMINGTON HILLS, MICHIGAN, NATIVE SANG "OVER THE RAINBOW"
AND WALKED A CROWD-PLEASING STRUT IN A BLACK AND GOLD BIKINI TO
CLINCH THE TITLE.
SHE SAYS SHE WANTS TO PERFORM ON BROADWAY.
