THE NOVEMBER ELECTION.
THE STEM CELL RESEARCH BALLOT QUESTION COMMITTEE WILL HAVE TO
COLLECT MORE THAN 300,000 VALID SIGNATURES OF MICHIGAN VOTERS TO
MAKE THE BALLOT.
THE BALLOT DRIVE HAS OPPOSITION.
GROUPS SUCH AS RIGHT TO LIFE OF MICHIGAN AND THE MICHIGAN
CATHOLIC CONFERENCE OPPOSE EMBRYONIC STEM CELL RESEARCH BUT SUPPORT
ADULT STEM CELL RESEARCH.
MICHIGAN HAS SOME OF THE NATION'S STRICTEST RULES ON EMBRYONIC
STEM CELL RESEARCH.
