Anemic crowd greets Romney in return to make-or-break Michigan
an anemic crowd as he begins his final push for votes in Michigan's
crucial primary.
No more than 150 people were on hand today at Macomb Community
College's Warren campus as the former Massachusetts governor
delivered an unusually short, 13-minute address, taking no
questions from his audience.
He is trying to rebound from second-place finishes in the Iowa
caucuses and New Hampshire primary.
Today's remarks had reminded the small audience that his mother
and father, late Michigan Gov. George Romney, are buried in
Michigan.
Romney also lambasted Arizona Sen. John McCain for remarks that
some jobs lost in Michigan will not be recovered.
