(wgvu) - LAWMAKERS ARE BACK IN SESSION AT THE
MICHIGAN CAPITOL AFTER A THREE-WEEK HOLIDAY BREAK.
SOME COMMITTEE HEARINGS TOOK PLACE YESTERDAY, BUT NO MAJOR
BUSINESS OCCURRED IN THE HOUSE OR SENATE.
TOMORROW, LEGISLATORS WILL GET A PICTURE OF HOW THE STATE BUDGET
IS DOING WHEN ECONOMISTS ANNOUNCE THEIR LATEST STATE GOVERNMENT
REVENUE ESTIMATES.
THE LEGISLATURE IS EXPECTED TO BE UP TO FULL SPEED NEXT WEEK
AFTER MICHIGAN'S PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY.
GOVERNOR GRANHOLM WILL DELIVER HER ANNUAL STATE OF THE STATE
ADDRESS TO LAWMAKERS LATER THIS MONTH.
