(wgvu) - - GOVERNOR GRANHOLM AND HER HUSBAND ARE
ENCOURAGING MORE MICHIGAN RESIDENTS TO BECOME MENTORS TO CHILDREN.
THIRTY-FIVE-HUNDRED CHILDREN ARE WAITING TO BE PLACED WITH A
MENTOR IN THE STATE.
MEN ESPECIALLY ARE NEEDED TO MENTOR BOYS.
SIXTY-ONE PERCENT OF THE STATE'S MENTORS ARE FEMALE AND JUST 39
PERCENT ARE MALE.
MORE MINORITY MENTORS ARE NEEDED, TOO.
