US Ghans Deaths
(2008-01-04)
(wgvu) - The bodies of two Navy sailors have been
flown to Germany for an examination.
The victims are identified as 22-year-old Patrick Mack of
Warren, Michigan, and 35-year-old Lonnie Davis Junior, of
Riverdale, Georgia.
Both were found dead in a hotel room in the West African nation
of Ghana on New Year's Eve.
Police in Ghana also say a third unidentified sailor who had
been with the two has been hospitalized. The three were assigned to
the USS Fort McHenry.
The Navy earlier this week said Mack and Davis died of "unknown
causes while on liberty."
Military officials say the exact cause of their deaths is under
investigation.
