Granholm and Cherry resolve to lose weight in 2008 USA (wgvu) - LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Governor Jennifer Granholm and Lieutenant
Governor John Cherry have weighty issues on their minds.
Both say they've made New Year's resolutions to slim down.
The 48-year-old governor says she wants to shed 15 pounds. The
56-year-old Cherry says he'd like to lose 55 pounds.
Both already exercise.
Neither gave details on how they plan to meet their goals.
