Voter Registration
presidential favorites in the January 15 primary need to get
registered soon.
Next Monday is the last day to register to vote in the
presidential primary. Anyone can register to vote as long as the
person is a resident of the U.S. and of Michigan, and will be 18
years old by January 15.
Registration can be done in person at the local clerk's office,
or by mail. The mail-in form is on the Department of State Web site
at http://www.Michigan.gov/sos.
Voters don't have to declare a political party to register, but
they'll have to ask for a Republican or Democratic ballot to vote
for a presidential favorite.
