STATE POLICE SAY EXCESSIVE
SPEED WAS ONE OF THE FACTORS IN A SNOWMOBILE CRASH THAT CLAIMED THE
LIFE OF A SUBURBAN DETROIT MAN.
THE VICTIM OF FRIDAY'S CRASH IN WEXFORD COUNTY'S SOUTH BRANCH
TOWNSHIP IS IDENTIFIED AS 27-YEAR-OLD BRENT DONALD LASKOWSKI. HE
LIVED IN WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP IN MACOMB COUNTY.
STATE POLICE TELL THE CADILLAC NEWS THAT LASKOWSKI FAILED TO
NEGOTIATE A CURVE BEFORE HIS SNOWMOBILE CRASHED INTO A GROUP OF
TREES.
THE CRASH HAPPENED ABOUT 210 MILES NORTHWEST OF DETROIT.
