SERVICES BEFORE THE TAX WAS REPEALED WOULD GET A REFUND UNDER
LEGISLATION HEADED TO GOVERNOR GRANHOLM.
THE MICHIGAN SENATE APPROVED THE BILL, DAYS AFTER THE TAX
BRIEFLY TOOK EFFECT. IT WAS IN EFFECT FOR LESS THAN 24 HOURS.
THE BILL GIVES AMNESTY FROM OWING OR COLLECTING THE SERVICE TAX.
