(wgvu) - A NEW POLL SHOWS FOUR OUT OF FIVE LIKELY
MICHIGAN VOTERS HAVE A NEGATIVE OPINION OF STATE LAWMAKERS.
TWO-THIRDS FEEL THE SAME ABOUT DEMOCRATIC GOVERNOR JENNIFER
GRANHOLM.
THE STATEWIDE TELEPHONE POLL WAS CONDUCTED NOVEMBER 7TH-13TH BY
LANSING-BASED EPIC-MRA FOR THE DETROIT NEWS AND TELEVISION STATIONS
WXYZ, WILX, WOOD AND WJRT.
FIFTEEN PERCENT GAVE LAWMAKERS A RATING OF EXCELLENT OR PRETTY
GOOD, WHILE 83 PERCENT GAVE THEM A RATING OF ONLY FAIR OR POOR. TWO
PERCENT WERE UNDECIDED.
THIRTY-FIVE PERCENT GAVE THE GOVERNOR A POSITIVE RATING, WHILE
64 PERCENT GAVE HER A RATING OF ONLY FAIR OR POOR. ONE PERCENT WAS
UNDECIDED.
THE POLL HAD A MARGIN OF SAMPLING ERROR OF PLUS OR MINUS FOUR
PERCENTAGE POINTS.
