DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING.
TENS OF THOUSANDS TURNED OUT FOR YESTERDAY'S AMERICA'S
THANKSGIVING PARADE IN DETROIT.
PEOPLE HEADING FOR THE PARADE ROUTE PASSED PARTICIPANTS IN THE
ANNUAL PRE-PARADE TURKEY TROT FIVE-KILOMETER RUN.
SHELITA PORTER SAID SHE WAS GLAD TO SEE THE RECENT CHANGES IN
DETROIT'S DOWNTOWN -- WHERE BLIGHT HAS GIVEN WAY TO SHOPS,
CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS, STADIUMS, A CASINO AND AN ICE RINK.
THE GREEN BAY PACKERS BEAT THE DETROIT LIONS 37-26 AT FORD
FIELD. IT WAS THE LIONS' FOURTH CONSECUTIVE THANKSGIVING DAY LOSS.
