Ex-Mayor Arson USA (wgvu) - SAGINAW, Mich. (AP) - Attorneys have chosen 14 people to sit on
a jury in the arson and insurance fraud trial of former Saginaw
Mayor Wilmer Jones Ham McZee.
Saginaw County Circuit Judge William Crane says the trial could
last a week. He says testimony will begin on Tuesday.
The 57-year-old Ham McZee is accused of setting her 1986
Mercedes-Benz on fire in March of last year and trying to make a
false insurance claim.
She has pleaded not guilty in the case.
Ham McZee is the mother of ex-Detroit Pistons player Darvin Ham.
