subpoenas could face possible contempt citations.
At issue is the testimony from key confidants in connection with
a probe of U.S. attorney firings.
The Michigan Democrat raises the specter of a House floor vote
by Thanksgiving on citations against chief of staff Joshua Bolten
and former legal counsel Harriet Miers.
Conyers sent a letter to White House counsel Fred Fielding
stating it was the last time he'd write the administration seeking
a cooperative resolution.
