UNIVERSITIES AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS HAVE REWRITTEN THEIR DOMESTIC
PARTNERSHIP POLICIES TO AVOID REFERENCE TO DOMESTIC PARTNERSHIPS.
IN MANY CASES, THE NEW ROLES PROVIDE COVERAGE TO ADULTS WHO LIVE
WITH AN EMPLOYEE AND SHARE FINANCES BUT AREN'T RELATIVES.
