Delphi Bankruptcy
extend its $4.5 billion bankruptcy loan into next year.
The Troy, Michigan-based auto parts supplier says the extension
will give it more time to exit Chapter 11 protection after changing
the terms of its reorganization plan.
Delphi wants to extend the loan's maturity with an option to
further extend the loan through September 30th, 2008.
Delphi had planned to emerge from Chapter 11 by the end of the
year.
A U.S. Bankruptcy Court will consider the loan changes at a
November 16th hearing.
