POT PIE PROBLEM

(wgvu) - - CONAGRA FOODS HAS RECALLED BANQUET AND
GENERIC BRAND POT PIES LINKED TO AT LEAST 174 CASES OF SALMONELLA
IN 32 STATES.
THE U.S. CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION SAYS AT
LEAST 33 PEOPLE HAVE BEEN HOSPITALIZED AS PART OF THE ONGOING
OUTBREAK. NO DEATHS HAVE BEEN REPORTED SO FAR.
THREE OF THE CASES HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED IN MICHIGAN. THE STATE
WITH THE HIGHEST NUMBER IS WISCONSIN, WITH 21.
THE RECALL AFFECTS ALL VARIETIES SOLD UNDER STORE BRANDS
INCLUDING KROGER, MEIJER AND GREAT VALUE, WHICH ARE SOLD AT
WAL-MART STORES.
