Cold Case Help from Inmate Suspect MI (wgvu) - LOWELL, Fla. (AP) - A man serving 50 years in prison for rape in
Florida will go to Michigan to help police locate the body of his
13-year-old stepdaughter.
Fifty-six-year-old Leonard Hugall has confessed to raping and
killing Kelly Harris, who disappeared 23 years ago from her home in
Jackson County (Michigan).
Michigan State Police will take custody of Hugall for three days
before returning him to Florida to complete his sentence.
He'll face a murder trial in Michigan if and when he leaves
prison in Florida.
