CHICKEN FARM EXPANDS USA (wgvu) - IONIA, Mich. (AP) - An Ionia County egg producer has announced a
$12 million expansion of a large chicken farm that will create 40
jobs.
Herbruck Poultry Ranch plans a new cage-free facility for
300,000 laying hens and an egg-processing plant near Ionia.
The Saranac-based company is one of the nation's largest
producers of organic eggs and has operated in Michigan for half a
century.
