VOWS IN A BOTTLE
(2007-10-01)
(wgvu) - - MELODY KLOSKA AND MATT BEHRS TAKE IT AS A
SIGN THEY WERE MEANT TO GET MARRIED.
AFTER THE WISCONSIN COUPLE WERE WED ON A LAKE MICHIGAN BEACH ON
AUGUST 18TH, THEY RELEASED A BOTTLE THAT CONTAINED THEIR WEDDING
VOWS.
A FEW WEEKS LATER, IT WAS FOUND BY FRED AND LYNETTE DUBENDORF OF
MEARS, MICHIGAN. THEY WERE MARRIED ON THE MICHIGAN SIDE OF THE LAKE
-- 28 YEARS TO THE DAY BEFORE KLOSKA AND BEHRS.
THE DUBENDORFS WROTE TO KLOSKA AND BEHRS TO TELL THEM ABOUT
THEIR DISCOVERY.
KLOSKA SAYS SHE COULDN'T BELIEVE THE BOTTLE MADE IT 50 MILES
ACROSS LAKE MICHIGAN. SHE CALLS IT A SIGN THAT THERE'S STILL HOPE
AND THAT THEIR MARRIAGE WAS MEANT TO BE.
