Healthier Saginaw MICHIGAN (wgvu) - Health officials say 68 percent of Saginaw
County residents are overweight or obese.
They're enlisting a ten-time Grammy winner to help them in a
"losing" effort.
Jazz guitarist George Benson is slated to play November 4th at
Saginaw's Temple Theatre. Tickets range from $25 to $75, with
proceeds benefiting the county Health Department's "Step Up
Saginaw" campaign.
A benefit concert last year by blues legend B.B. King raised
$20,000 for the Saginaw Police Department.
