Lansing Killings
(wgvu) - LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Lansing police are searching for a man
they say could be connected to two slayings and a third attack, all
on women living alone in the city.
Authorities scoured a neighborhood yesterday after a 56-year-old
woman was struck in the head by an intruder in her home.
The attack came a day after a 64-year-old woman was found dead
in a house she rented.
Police say the unknown intruder could be connected to Monday's
death and the death of 76-year-old Ruth Hallman, a neighborhood
activist who was found beaten in her home July 26th.
Four women have been killed in the city in about a month --
three in their own homes.
