Lawmakers Targeted for Recall
recall state lawmakers who could vote for tax increases.
There are 10 targeted legislators so far, and another 20
lawmakers could be added to the list.
The House members are Speaker Andy Dillon and fellow Democrats
Marc Corriveau of Northville, Mary Valentine of Muskegon and Gino
Polidori of Dearborn. Republican House members who could face
recall elections include Ed Gaffney of Grosse Pointe Farms and
Richard Ball of Laingsburg.
The targeted Senate members are Democrats Glenn Anderson of
Westland and Dennis Olshove of Warren, along with Republicans
Gerald Van Woerkom of Norton Shores and Valde Garcia of Howell.
Anti-organizers plan to attempt recalls against the named
lawmakers if they vote to raise taxes.
