Holy Cross Rescue
rescued from a mountain in Colorado.
Jeff Snapper and his stepbrother, Adam Van Essen, were rescued
yesterday from the Mount of the Holy Cross. the 14,000-foot-high
mountain is located about 80 miles west of Denver.
The men called 911 on a cell phone to report they were stranded
on a ridge below the summit and couldn't go up or down safely.
Rescuers escorted the men to a Colorado Air National Guard
helicopter that carried them to a nearby town.
The men's hometowns weren't available.
