FALLON SAYS HE MAY CONSIDER LEGAL ACTION TO CLEAR HIS NAME
FOLLOWING WHAT HE BELIEVES WAS A DELIBERATE COVER UP OF A CAMPUS
SLAYING.
FALLON MADE HIS REMARKS LAST NIGHT DURING A LARRY KING LIVE
INTERVIEW ON C-N-N.
FALLON HAD BEEN FIRED JULY 16TH. THE UNIVERSITY'S BOARD OF
REGENTS HAD DETERMINED THAT HE AND TWO OTHER E-M-U OFFICIALS
MISHANDLED THE RAPE AND MURDER INVESTIGATION OF FORMER STUDENT
LAURA DICKINSON.
FALLON SAYS HE FEELS BETRAYED BY FORMER VICE PRESIDENT FOR
STUDENT AFFAIRS JIM VICK. HE SAYS VICK HAD TOLD HIM THAT NO FOUL
PLAY WAS INVOLVED. VICK AND PUBLIC SAFETY DIRECTOR CINDY HALL HAD
BEEN FORCED TO RETIRE.
FALLON SAYS HE JUST WANTS TO CLEAR HIS NAME -- AND GET BACK TO
WORK.
