FIREWORKS DEATH USA (wgvu) - INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - One of two brothers injured
in a Fourth of July fireworks explosion is dead.
Thirty-one-year-old Andy Impola of Independence Township died
today at a Flint hospital.
His brother, 32-two-year-old Lee Impola of Burton, remains in
serious condition at a Detroit hospital.
Authorities say the brothers were making fireworks in the
maintenance building of an apartment complex where Andy Impola
lived and worked.
Andy Impola was married and had a one-year-old daughter.
