Fireworks Death MICHIGAN (wgvu) - A 27-year-old Lincoln Park woman has
died after a commercial-grade firework exploded in her face.
Melvindale police say Danialle Barse (BAHR'-see) wasn't familiar
with the firework she was using last night in the parking lot of
the car wash where she worked.
Police say Barse's children and her fiance looked on as the
three-inch mortar bomb exploded. A witness tried to help her but he
says he was too late.
Some fireworks confiscated at scene were purchased in Ohio, but
A-T-F agents are determining where the commercial-grade fireworks
came from.
No one at the car wash had permission to conduct a fireworks
display.
