MICHIGAN BUSINESS TAX AND HER JOB CREATION EFFORTS IN A TELEVISION
AD SCHEDULED TO AIR TOMORROW.
THE ONE-MINUTE AD, PAID FOR BY THE MICHIGAN DEMOCRATIC PARTY,
WILL RUN ONCE ON MOST BROADCAST T-V STATIONS IN THE STATE.
GRANHOLM WANTS TO DELIVER A MESSAGE THAT THE MICHIGAN BUSINESS
TAX WILL HELP HER RECRUIT JOBS INTO MICHIGAN. THE OLD TAX THAT
EXPIRES AT THE END OF THIS YEAR WAS SEEN AS ANTIGROWTH.
THE DEMOCRATIC GOVERNOR ALSO WILL TALK ABOUT STATE GOVERNMENT'S
BUDGET CRISIS AND HER COMMITMENT TO "PROTECTING EDUCATION, HEALTH
CARE AND PUBLIC SAFETY," ACCORDING TO A DEMOCRATIC PARTY
SPOKESMAN.
THE AD COMES AT A TIME GRANHOLM'S JOB APPROVAL RATING IS THE
LOWEST IS HAS EVER BEEN.
