Big Ten Network MICHIGAN (wgvu) - The Big Ten Network will launch August 30th with
a highlights show and follow two days later with its first football
games.
The network will go on the air at 8 p-m Eastern time on a
Thursday.
Regional coverage of Appalachian State-Michigan, Youngstown
State-Ohio State, Florida International-Penn State and
Northeastern-Northwestern follows Saturday.
The conference also is announcing distribution commitments for
more than 75 local cable systems serving viewers in Michigan and
the seven other states where there are Big Ten schools.
The Big Ten also has an agreement with Direc-T-V.
