Meat for Drugs
after police say they caught him trading stolen steaks for drugs.
Flint police say 31-year-old Brian Massey of Holly last
September traded three porterhouse steaks for ten dollars worth of
crack cocaine.
Police say Massey made the exchange with undercover officers,
who had set up a sting in a home, and walked away with fake crack.
Prosecutors think Massey swiped the steaks from a local grocery
store.
Although the arrest happened months ago, a judge didn't approve
a warrant until this past week. Massey was arraigned last Thursday.
His next court appearance is set for early next month.
Prosecutors say he won't face charges for stealing the meat, just
the drug charge.
