(wgvu) - FOUNTAIN, Mich. (AP) - Northern Michigan authorities say a man
shot at his wife, then held officers at bay for several hours
before surrendering.
Authorities say the gunman barricaded himself inside his home
last night in Mason County near Fountain after firing two shots at
wife during an argument.
The woman fled to a neighbor's home and called police.
After hours of negotiating with the man, he came out of the home
unarmed and was arrested.
Fountain is about 15 miles east of Ludington.
