BYRON FOUTY
(2007-06-05)
(wgvu) - Word of a new video that claims three
captured soldiers were killed in Iraq last month reached some of
their comrades today.
Families and neighbors of two of the men are holding out hope
that they're alive.
The body found May-23rd was identified as that of Private
first-class Joseph Anzack -Junior of suburban Los Angeles.
The missing soldiers have been identified as Private Byron Fouty
of Waterford Township (Michigan), and Specialist Alex Jimenez of
Lawrence, Massachusetts.
Fouty's stepfather, Gordon Dibler of Oxford, says the military
told him Saturday that the video showed some of the soldiers'
personal items.
Dibler says the family is praying -- and they don't know the
soldiers aren't alive.
