(wgvu) - LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Southfield attorney Mayer "Mike"
Morganroth will pick up Jack Kevorkian when the 79-year-old retired
pathologist walks out of Lakeland Correctional Facility tomorrow.
Morganroth is a short, dapper 76-year-old whose relaxed demeanor
is belied by his workaholic habits.
Kevorkian is his most recent to rivet national attention, but
he's far from the first.
Morganroth also represented the late auto executive John
DeLorean, as well as politician Lyndon LaRouche.
He was the attorney for Carolyn Warmus, the millionaire's
daughter with Michigan ties convicted of killing her lover's wife
in New York state, and represented former Detroit Mayor Coleman
Morganroth is on Hillary Clinton's presidential finance
committee and has helped a host of other Democratic candidates,
including Bill Clinton.
