PRESIDENT FORD AUCTION
President Gerald Ford will be auctioned to benefit three causes.
Golf clubs, cowboy hats, engraved crystal and American flags
will be among more than 500 lots compiled from the Colorado home
that the Grand Rapids native and his wife, Betty, owned.
Among the three groups benefiting from auction funds raised will
be the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, a camp for seriously ill children
and a post-secondary school scholarship fund.
New York-based Guernsey's will handle the auction slated for
Beaver Creek, Colorado.
