(wgvu) - JACKSON, Mich. (AP) - Police in Jackson say a three-year-old boy
whose father is a soldier serving in Iraq was killed when a wooden
dresser in his bedroom fell on him.
Sean Mietalka was crushed yesterday evening at his Jackson home.
Deputy Police Chief Matt Heins says the child's mother sent him
to bed for misbehaving and found him under the dresser a few
minutes later when she went to check on him.
The boy's parents are Sarah and Andrew Mietalka.
He's an Army reservist who went to Iraq in September.
The couple also have a five-month-old son named Aiden.
