TRUCK RECTORY
County got a scare when a garbage truck slammed into the wall of
the rectory.
The truck ran a stop sign on state highway 113 yesterday and
collided with another truck before veering into the building.
No one at Saint Mary's of Hannah Church was injured ... but the
sheriff's department says both truck drivers were injured. One was
taken to a hospital.
The garbage truck hit the wall of the pastor's office and did
heavy damage. The pastor was in another part of the building at the
time.
He'll live temporarily in the parish's convent, which was
vacant.
The truck driver was ticketed for missing the stop sign.
