MCCAIN ENERGY POLICY USA (wgvu) - PLYMOUTH, Mich. (AP) - Arizona Senator John McCain says
America's current energy policy needs revamping.
The Republican presidential candidate says more focus must be
placed on alternative forms of energy.
McCain spoke to reporters after a campaign stop at a restaurant
in the Detroit suburb of Plymouth.
His comments come a day after a Senate committee approved a plan
to raise the nationwide fleet fuel economy average by about 40
percent.
McCain was making his second campaign stop in Michigan in less
than a month.
