SOUTHFIELD FOR A SPOT IN A STAGE SHOW ON THE LIFE AND CAREER OF
ARETHA FRANKLIN.
FRANKLIN WAS ONE OF A PANEL OF JUDGES WHO LISTENED TO THE
PERFORMANCES.
AMONG THOSE TRYING OUT WAS TEN-YEAR-OLD BREANNA NORMAN, WHO
AUDITIONED BY SINGING "AMAZING GRACE."
THE 65-YEAR-OLD FRANKLIN HAS WON 19 GRAMMY AWARDS AND THE
PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL OF FREEDOM.
SHE SAYS SHE HEARD SOME GREAT PERFORMANCES TODAY.
